If you do not agree, please do not use Panotxa. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.
1. Legal notice (LSSI-CE art. 10)
In compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce, the owner of this website and of the Panotxa service is:

The owner is a natural person acting as a sole trader; there is no company registration to cite. Panotxa is not a regulated health service and is not registered as a medical device.
2. What Panotxa is (and is not)
Panotxa is a free consumer app that estimates the quality of your meals from photos or text descriptions using an AI model, computes scores and trends (dish quality, meal quality, Momentum, Habit), and offers general nutrition coaching, an AI chat assistant, habit and weight tracking, and optional sync with your phone's health app.
Not medical advice. Panotxa is a habit and awareness tool. Its estimates — calories, macronutrients, scores, targets, recommendations and chat replies — are approximate, generated automatically by an AI from a photo, and can be wrong. They are not medical, dietetic or nutritional advice, do not diagnose or treat any condition, and do not replace a doctor, dietitian or other qualified professional. Do not rely on Panotxa if you have (or suspect you have) an eating disorder, diabetes, a food allergy, are pregnant, or follow a medically prescribed diet without your clinician's guidance. If you feel unwell, seek medical help.
The nutritionist chat is an AI assistant, not a person. Content in the app is generated by AI unless a connected professional signs it.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 14 years old (16 where your country sets that age) to create an account.
- Give a valid email address and keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
- One account per person; do not impersonate anyone.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app.
4. Acceptable use
Use Panotxa for its purpose — tracking your own (or, with their consent, your household's) meals. You agree not to:
- upload content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that depicts people without their consent;
- use the chat or photo analysis to generate harmful, abusive or unlawful content, or to try to extract our prompts and models;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the service, bypass rate limits or security, or access other users' data;
- resell or commercially exploit the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after notice where reasonable.
5. Your content and our software
Your photos, texts and data remain yours. You grant us only the licence we need to store, process (including sending them to the AI provider named in the privacy policy) and display them to you, to people you share with, and to professionals you connect. We may use anonymous, aggregated statistics (for example, average scores) that cannot identify you. The Panotxa software, brand, designs and scoring method are ours or our licensors'.
6. Share links
When you share a meal, you create a public page that anyone with the link can open, including messaging-app previews. Share only what you are comfortable making public and respect the privacy of anyone else in the photo. You can revoke a link from the meal at any time; deleting the meal or your account also disables it.
7. Connecting a professional (Panotxa Pro)
If you enter a professional's invite code, you consent to that nutritionist or trainer seeing the categories of your data you select, for as long as the connection is active. You can change what you share or disconnect at any time. The professional's advice is theirs, given under their own responsibility and professional rules; Panotxa is only the channel and does not verify their qualifications. Professionals must use the panel only for their clients' care and keep client data confidential.
8. Health app sync
Reading from and writing to Apple Health or Health Connect is optional and controlled by you in the app and in the OS permissions. Values written by Panotxa (calories consumed) are estimates and are marked as coming from Panotxa. Turn the sync off before you stop using the app if you do not want them to remain in your health app.
9. Price and changes to the service
Panotxa is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features we will present their price and terms clearly before you pay, and you will keep the right of withdrawal the law grants consumers. Because the current service is free and starts at once, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply — you can simply stop using it or delete your account. We may change, add or remove features and may discontinue the service with reasonable notice; where possible you will be able to export your data first.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep Panotxa available and accurate, but it is offered "as is": we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free analysis or that any particular result will be achieved. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions you take based on the app's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Spanish consumer law, including for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Termination
You may stop using Panotxa and delete your account whenever you like. We may close accounts that breach these terms or that have been inactive for a very long time, with notice by email where possible. Sections 5, 10 and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also enjoy the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and any dispute may be brought before the courts of your domicile. Consumers in the EU can also use the European online dispute resolution platform. We will always try to solve issues first at[email protected].
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they apply. Continuing to use Panotxa after that date means you accept the new terms.
